It\'s a common experience as a child to receive a gift that did not meet expectations (I\'m looking at you Sea Monkeys).\
\
However, sometimes I received gifts that exceeded expectations. For example, the pump action Daisy BB-gun I received for my birthday at age 12 exceeded my expectations. I played with it frequently for the rest of the summer, and for many years afterward.\
