Yeah, a gold digger is a woman who only wants a guy for his money.  It doesn't sound like that's the case for her. When it comes to the division of money and labor, my ideal would be a roughly equal division of both. If the father works outside the home, and the mother works as homemaker, then a fraction of the money would be set aside to pay for joint expenses (mortgage, food, etc).  The remainder would be divided up equally under each spouses exclusive control. Labor too, would be divided up roughly equally, with each partner believing that they're putting in the same amount of work/effort on the whole.
