Carrie-Ann Biondi This suggests to me that there's at least two ways that a work could be ill intentioned: 1. Tell a story that about people/ideas you don't really care about or believe in because you think it will make a lot of money. (The themes / ideology may themselves be well-intentioned.) 2. Tell a story that you sincerely believe in, but which advances an evil ideology (fascism, nihilism, socialism, etc) Triump of the Will, American Psycho, Fight Club, or Succession might fall into the latter category.
