We've gone round this many times before.  Do you think an appeal to authority (even Jeffrey Tucker) is going to be convincing? Socialist central planning doesn't work any better for immigration decisions than it works for anything else. Nativists were wrong to block Japanese/Chinese immigrants, they were wrong to block Jewish immigrants, and they're wrong to block Mexican immigrants.
