If it's so clear that he committed a crime, then wait until he's been convicted of one before you strike him from the ballot.  Incumbents  taking their opponents off the ballot in the absence of any criminal conviction is what dictators do. >  And in my view he definitely engaged in insurrection Orwellian.  It's like screaming you've been shot when a little kid shoots a popgun at you.
