The US offered a \$50 million bounty for information that led to the capture of Osama Bin Laden\
\
Ultimately, the manhunt that lead to his death cost \~\$500 billion.\
\
Maduro\'s bounty was also \$50 million. But Maduro\'s capture cost \~\$1 billion.\
\
\$50 million doesn\'t seem like a lot, given that an informant\'s friends and family would be targeted for torture / death.\
\
Seems to me that such bounties should be 1. much larger 2. pay upon completion.\
\
Maybe \$500 million for the death of the target, and \$750 million for their live capture.
